Titans GM will listen to 'any and all offers' for No. 1 overall pick

If any team is interested in moving up to the top spot in the 2016 NFL Draft, the current holder of that pick, Tennessee Titans GM Jon Robinson, would be happy to lend an ear.

College Football 24/7 Hot Topics:

Robinson said Monday that the Titans "will look at any and all offers that come this way" for the No. 1 overall pick.

Robinson might still be in his first days as the team's GM, but he's no neophyte when it comes to this game. It's customary for GMs to say they'll be willing to listen to calls from teams interested in dealing picks. These are men that want to know every option that might be available to them.

And in a year where there might not be a consensus No. 1 prospect in the draft, why wouldn't Robinson listen?

Maybe he'll find a taker. Maybe he won't. It would be foolish, though, to close off the lines of communication. With the Cleveland Browns drafting second overall, NFL Media analysts Daniel Jeremiah and Bucky Brooks both have them taking Cal quarterback Jared Goff with the pick. The Titans aren't in the market for a QB after drafting Marcus Mariota second overall last year. If some team drafting behind the Browns falls in love with Goff, would they be inclined to find out what it would take leapfrog Cleveland and perhaps avoid missing the chance to land him?

Robinson will be more than happy to tell them the price if they'd like to ask.
