Will DeSean Jackson be ready for Monday Night Football?
Redskins coach Jay Gruden told reporters that the veteran wideout missed Saturday's practice with an upper respiratory illness.
Jackson is listed as probable for Washington's Week 13 tilt with the Dallas Cowboys. We expect him to play, but his absence is concerning for a team that also designated Andre Roberts as questionable with an ankle injury.Â
Appearing in just five games all year, Jackson has piled up 212 yards and two scores off 12 grabs. He's played well of late, though, with 153 yards and two touchdowns over the past two weeks. His ability to take the top off a secondary has helped quarterback Kirk Cousins in the passing game.
"He brings a different element," said offensive coordinator Sean McVay. "... It's a big advantage."
