Bruce Arians: I'll dine with Rams 'but I ain't liking 'em'

Some people like the St. Louis Rams. Bruce Arians isn't one of them.

The Cardinals coach recently called his NFC West foe "that team we don't like," before throwing another log on the fire in the lead-up to Sunday's 1 p.m. ET showdown.

"I'll have dinner with 'em, but I ain't liking 'em," Arians said Wednesday, per Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. "I ain't drinking with 'em."

Can you imagine Joe Philbin saying this?

It's not unusual for two division rivals to jab each other, but this isn't the first time Arians has shoved his masterful wit right in the face of the Rams.

It was last December when Arians slammed St. Louis after a 12-6 win over Jeff Fisher's club on Thursday Night Football, noting: "Everybody wanted to say how great their defense is, but I think they saw a good defense tonight, and it was in red and white."

Arians wasn't finished, saying at the time: "I love it when nobody says that you will have a chance to win. There is an 11-3 team, and a team that is always 8-8. You figure it out."

He's not wrong. Arians has quickly turned the Cardinals into a powerhouse, while the Rams appear married to eternal mediocrity. If you're looking for a trap game, this isn't it.
