Darrelle Revis could miss time with concussion

Darrelle Revis is coming off perhaps the worst game of his career. He might have to wait a week to get some redemption.

Jets coach Todd Bowles said Monday that Revis "wasn't feeling any better" on Monday, one day after suffering a concussion in the New York's 24-17 loss to the Houston Texans. The All-Pro cornerback could be facing a race against the clock with the Jets preparing for a Week 12 matchup against the Miami Dolphins.

"Anytime a person gets a concussion you're kind of pessimistic about him the next week," Bowles said, per ESPN.com. "Some people recover faster than others. We'll just have to wait and see."

Revis has missed one game in his career due to a concussion, a Week 2 matchup against the Steelers in 2012. He returned the following week and suffered a torn ACL, effectively ending his first tour of duty with the Jets.

Revis was injured Sunday while attempting to make a third-down tackle of Texans running back Akeem Hunt. Revis was walking to the locker room when his replacement, Marcus Williams, got burned by DeAndre Hopkins for a touchdown.

Williams will likely draw the start against the Dolphins if Revis is unable to go.
