Randall Cobb practices with Packers on Wednesday

The Packers' dream of having their entire receiving corps healthy and intact for Week 1 died a long time ago.

But the sight of Randall Cobb back on the practice field Wednesday was a welcome one.

Cobb, who sustained a shoulder sprain two weeks ago, was working on the field and participated in individual drills, according to ESPN.com. He was officially listed as limited on the team's injury report.

It was the first time Cobb worked out since the injury occurred.

Earlier in the day, head coach Mike McCarthy hinted that Cobb would at least be very much in the conversation to play against the Bears.

"My expectation for Randall is to prepare and get ready for Chicago," he said, via Packers.com. "I'm hopeful everybody practices today."

Based on Chicago's outlook, it's not outlandish to say that Green Bay could win the opener without Cobb. As NFL Media's Gil Brandt points out, openers haven't meant much to the Packers over the years anyway.

Then again, we understand this is about you, dear fantasy owner. And by all accounts, Cobb looks like he has the green light barring any setbacks.
