The veteran tight end, still rehabbing from herniated disc surgery, is visiting with the Green Bay Packers, NFL Media's Rand Getlin reported.

Gresham, 27, visited the Arizona Cardinals last week. In addition, he met with the New Orleans Saints last month and the Raiders are also interested.

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported that Gresham's goal is to find a new home by training camp, which starts next week.

The Packers represent the most intriguing option thus far for the former Cincinnati Bengals tight end. Green Bay has been searching for a stable pass catcher at the position since Jermichael Finley underwent spinal fusion surgery in 2013.

The Packers are thin at tight end and Andrew Quarless' arrest earlier this month casts more questions. Green Bay hopes Richard Rodgers steps up in his second year. Kenard Backman, Justin Perillo and undrafted free agents Mitchell henry and Harold Spears are also battling for jobs.

Gresham averaged 56 catches over five seasons with the Bengals and could provide insurance if Quarless is disciplined or Rodgers struggles to make a leap.

Gresham has some options heading into training camp, the big question is how healthy is he?
