Richard Sherman, Trent Williams settle differences

While we mourn the fact that J.J. Watt and Zach Mettenbergerseem to be drifting further and further apart, we can take solace in the fact that, sometimes in the NFL, people can come together.

Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman and Redskins offensive tackle Trent Williams, known for their now infamous face-punching incident at the end of their playoff battle in 2013, are now friends.

Via The Washington Post, the two took a photo together at a recent Nike event.

"Great weekend at the @Nike opening and kicking it with @RSherman_25," Williams wrote. "Great dude. No people we're not beefing lol."

There you have it. With each offseason, hope springs eternal and friendship blooms.
