The Oakland Raiders officially inked the wide receiver who could transform their pass-catching corps.

As evidenced by the photo below, Amari Cooper signed his rookie contract on Thursday.

The No. 4 overall pick in the NFL draft, scouts hailed Cooper as the most pro-ready receiver in a very deep class. The 6-foot-1, 211-pounder appeared in 40 games over three seasons at Alabama, setting school records with 228 receptions, 3,463 receiving yards and 31 receiving touchdowns.

Cooper has speed to burn and can play all over the formation. Former NFL GM Phil Savage told NFL Media's Lance Zierlein that he compared Cooper to former Colts great Marvin Harrison, due to the rookie's athletic ability, fluidity and hands.

As a rookie, Cooper should top a Raiders' depth chart that includes Michael Crabtree, Rod Streater, Kenbrell Thompkins and Andre Holmes. The rookie will give quarterback Derek Carr a go-to target to grow with for years to come.
