Two prospects impress at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo pro day

Three NFL teams were present for Cal Poly San Luis Obispo's pro day March 31. Six players worked outdoors on FieldTurf on a windy, 58-degree day, and two of them looked really impressive.

Nick Dzubnar (6-foot-1, 241 pounds), a linebacker, ran 4.67 and 4.72 in the 40. He had a 34-inch vertical and 9-3 broad jump. He had a 4.16 short shuttle and 6.67 3-cone drill. And he did 29 strength lifts.

Cam Ontko (5-foot-10 3/8, 222 pounds) ran the 40 in 4.48 and 4.48 seconds. He had a 40-inch vertical and 10-1 broad jump. He ran the short shuttle in 4.16 and the 3-cone drill in 6.73. And he did 19 strength lifts. Ontko, who transferred to Cal Poly after being dismissed from Wisconsin, is likely to be a free agent.
