The workout took place in 40-degree temperatures and with 10-15 mile-per-hour wind gusts.

Tight end Jean Sifrin (6-foot-5 1/2, 242 pounds) ran the 40-yard dash in 4.87 seconds against the wind and 4.77 seconds with the wind. He had a 31-inch vertical jump and 9-foot-10 broad jump. He did the 20-yard short shuttle in 4.67 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.18 seconds. He performed 16 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press. Sifrin has big 11-inch hands and 33 3/8 inch arms.

UMass quarterbacks coach Liam Coen, who is one of the greatest quarterbacks in Minutemen football history, threw passes to Sifrin during the positional workout. Sifrin caught 18 of the 20 passes thrown his way.

Sifrin is one of the 2015 NFL Draft's longshots who have inspirational back stories.
