Randy Gregory blown away by Steelers' Super Bowl trophies

There's nothing boring about Lombardi Trophies.

Not to Randy Gregory, anyway.

Just a couple days after the former Nebraska pass rusher and top draft prospect found himself in something of a social media dust-up with New Orleans Saints fans after calling the Big Easy "boring" on Twitter, Gregory was speechless (well, almost) when he passed the hardware in the Pittsburgh Steelers' trophy room during his visit with the Steelers:

The Steelers have the No. 22 overall draft pick and have a definite need for a pass rusher off the edge, something Gregory can offer as well as anyone in the draft. After a failed drug test at the NFL Scouting Combine, however, Gregory's place as a potential top-10 pick is shaky. NFL Media analyst Mike Mayock suggested Gregory could slide into the 20s, where he could be available to Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert, or even the second round.

"I'm very aware that he's going to slide. He could go into the 20s and maybe even into the second round. That's entirely plausible," Mayock said on NFL Network's "Path to the Draft." Despite the pending slide, however, Mayock ranks Gregory as the No. 2 pass rusher in the draft and called him a top-10 talent.

"Three years from now," Mayock added. "He's either going to be in the Pro Bowl, or he is going to be out of the league."
