Jets bringing in top pass rushers for pre-draft visits

The New York Jets are leaving no pass rusher unturned in preparation for the 2015 NFL Draft, with Kentucky's Bud Dupree the latest to schedule a visit to the AFC East team.

Earlier Wednesday, NFL Media's Ian Rapoport reported the Jets have scheduled Clemson's Vic Beasley for a visit next week, and according to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News, Dupree, Nebraska's Randy Gregory and Missouri's Shane Ray are on the Jets' list of visits, as well.

The parade of pass rushers going through the Jets facility doesn't end there.

Florida's Dante Fowler Jr. visited the Jetsearlier this week, and don't forget Virginia's Eli Harold, who has the Jets among 14 visits or workouts scheduled prior to the draft. That's the top half dozen pass rushers available in the draft making up 20 percent of the club's allotment of 30 official visits. The Jets hold the No. 6 overall choice, and while they likely won't get their pick of all those pass rushers at that point in the draft, they are definitely in position to pick up one of the best.

It's certainly among the club's biggest needs, although there is heavy speculation that the club has a strong interest in quarterback Marcus Mariota, as well. Still, all six NFL Media analysts with mock drafts project a pass rusher for the Jets at No. 6, and five of them expect it to be Ray.
