Eastern Michigan's pro day features two rookie FA possibilities

Representatives from 15 NFL teams were present for Eastern Michigan's pro day on March 17.

A total of 15 EMU players, plus two additional players from area small schools, worked out indoors on FieldTurf (except for the jumps -- vertical and broad -- which were conducted on a basketball court).

Two players at the event are potential rookie free-agent pickups following the 2015 NFL Draft.

Cornerback Willie Creear (5-foot-8 3/8, 187 pounds) made a name for himself at the Denver Regional Combine, where he posted an incredible 47-inch vertical jump. At Eastern Michigan's pro day, Creear ran the 40-yard dash in 4.44 and 4.5 seconds. He had a 10-foot-4 broad jump, and ran the 20-yard short shuttle in 4.29 seconds and the three-cone dirll in 7.05 seconds. He also had 22 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press. Creear also participated in the NFL's Super Regional Combine in Arizona on March 21. Creear has a lot of quickness, you just wish he was taller.

Running back Bronson Hill (5-10 1/2, 221) ran the 40 in 4.46 and 4.47 seconds. He had a 35-inch vertical jump and 9-foot-11 broad jump. He did the short shuttle in 4.46 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.33 seconds. He performed 25 strength lifts. Hill had a very good year in 2013, rushing for 1,101 yards and scoring five touchdowns. However, his production fell off during an injury-riddled 2014 season (351 yards rushing, no touchdowns).
