The NFL Scouting Combine has come and gone, and the calendar flipping over to March means only one thing on the road to the 2015 NFL Draft: pro days. College Football 24/7 will be your one-stop shop for information on workouts from Alabama to Yale and everybody in between.
Here's a look at the key takeaways from Thursday's pro-day action.
Missouri: Ray finally runs 40

Notable attendees:All 32 NFL teams had representatives at Missouri. Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin and general manager Kevin Colbert were reportedly in attendance. Chiefs general manager John Dorsey was scheduled to be there as well.
The skinny:The most anticipated drill of the day was Ray's 40-yard dash, primarily because he was medically exempted from the event at the combine. NFL Media analyst Mike Mayock reported on "Path to the Draft" that Ray's time was a disappointing 4.68, slower than the combine times for other elite edge rushers such as Vic Beasley (4.53), Dante Fowler Jr. (4.60) and Randy Gregory (4.64). One thing to consider about Ray's time compared to his fellow edge rushers: As fellow analyst Bucky Brooks notes, prospects generally run faster at their pro day than at the combine. Golden turned in a 40-yard dash time of 4.66 and had 17 bench-press reps at 225 pounds, according to the school.
Stanford: Montgomery improves time

Notable attendees:All 32 NFL clubs were represented. Former Denver Broncos offensive line coach Alex Gibbs oversaw offensive line drills.
The skinny:Montgomery, whose senior year at Stanford wasn't quite as productive or healthy as expected, turned in a 40-yard dash of 4.46. That's a significant improvement over the 4.55 he turned in at the NFL Scouting Combine. Montgomery ran the 3-cone drill in 6.98 seconds, according to the official Cardinal Twitter feed.
Penn State: Mid-round prospects lead action

Notable attendees:There were 13 NFL clubs at Penn State's pro day, a low number reflecting the absence of any potential first-round picks. Those in attendance, according to the Baltimore Sun: Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Ravens, Oakland Raiders, Kansas City Chiefs, New York Jets, Buffalo Bills, St. Louis Rams, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Bengals, New Orleans Saints, Jacksonville Jaguars and Miami Dolphins. Steelers assistant coaches Todd Haley and Mike Munchak were on hand.
The skinny: Nittany Lions safety Adrian Amos made a big improvement in his 40-yard dash with a 4.39 clocking, according to the Sun. Amos was clocked at 4.56 at the combine. James self-reported a 40-yard dash of 4.65 seconds, which would be a significant jump from his 4.83 clocking in Indianapolis.
