The Houston Texans' leading receiver underwent wrist surgery after the 2014 season.
DeAndre Hopkins told KILT Houston that he had a pin and rod inserted into his wrist to repair a torn ligament.
The ligament damage landed Hopkins on the Week 17 injury report, limiting him to just two catches for five yards in the season finale versus the Jaguars.
Hopkins downplayed the procedure as "minor" and said he expects to resume football activities in "a couple of weeks."
