Jason McCourty to recruit Devin McCourty to Titans?

After winning Super Bowl XLIX, impending free agent safety Devin McCourty made it clear that he wants to remain with the New England Patriots because "this is home."

Around The NFL's franchise tag primer projects that McCourty will draw the tag from the Patriots within the next two weeks.

If the Pats do allow McCourty to test the market, though, he will attract plenty of interest as Pro Football Focus' second-ranked safety over the past two years.

One of those prospective teams boasts McCourty's twin brother, Jason, who is prepared to put on a recruiting blitz for the Titans.

"I'll see what I can do. It's going to be hard to get him out of New England," Jason told NJ.com's Dan Duggan. "You know how the business side of it goes. We'll see. If he becomes a free agent, I'll be doing everything in my power to try to get him to Tennessee."

Jason acknowledged that it will be especially challenging because Devin feels like New England is home and will "want to play his entire career" there.

Devin promises to listen to Jason's pitch if he reaches the open market. That's a big if.

In Around The NFL's offseason forecast, Gregg Rosenthal suggested that McCourty might actually be viewed internally as more important to the Patriots than All-Pro cornerback Darrelle Revis.
