National Signing Day: All-name team for 2015 recruiting class

Soso-Jamabo-TOS-150205

National Signing Day has come and gone, but its impact obviously will be felt for years to come. And in looking over the players who signed, some of their names should be remembered for years to come.

Here's a sampling of the best names from the 2015 recruiting class.

10. LB C.J. Stalker

From: West Chester (Ohjoio) Lakota West
Signed with: Virginia
Buzz: Come on -- a linebacker named Stalker? It's a natural.

9. ATH Evan Rambo

From: Pasadena (Calif.) La Salle
Signed with: California
Buzz: He has to be Sylvester Stallone's favorite player, right?

8. DE King Newton

From: Southlake (Texas) Carroll
Signed with: UT San Antonio
Buzz: In addition to the name, he is noteworthy for being the son of former NFL offensive lineman Nate Newton.

7. DT Kingsley KeKe

From: Richmond (Texas) George Ranch
Signed with: Texas A&M
Buzz: From a "King" to a "Kingsley." And, man, the name is mellifluous, is it not?

6. WR Keke Coutee

From: Lufkin (Texas) High
Signed with: Texas Tech
Buzz: Another mellifluous name, this time with "Keke" as the first name. And shouldn't a guy named "Keke Coutee" play for a guy named "Kliff Kingsbury" in college?

5. DE Prince Tega Wanogho Jr.

From: Elmore (Ala.) Edgewood Academy
Signed with: Auburn
Buzz: The "Jr." is the cherry on top of the sundae. Wanogho is a Nigerian who came to the U.S. to play basketball (he is 6-foot-8). He decided to give football a try last summer, and the decision has paid off.

4. WR Q' Drennan

From: El Paso (Texas) Americas
Signed with: New Mexico
Buzz: Few letters are as cool as "q," so this is a guy you hope succeeds.

3. RB Bolu Olorunfunmi

From: Fresno (Calif.) Clovis North
Signed with: UCLA
Buzz: What makes this name even better is that the next guy on our list signed with the Bruins, too, so have fun, UCLA radio play-by-play guy Chris Roberts.

2. RB Soso Jamabo

From: Plano (Texas) West
Signed with: UCLA
Buzz: Say it three times fast; chances are, by the end you'll be smiling because it's just plain fun to say.

1. WR Equanimeous St. Brown

From: Anaheim (Calif.) Servite
Signed with: Notre Dame
Buzz: His full name: Equanimeous Tristan Imhotep J. St. Brown. What makes the name even more interesting is that his dad's name is plain old John Brown (who happens to be a former Mr. Universe). Equanimeous has brothers named Osiris and Amon-Ra. Equanimeous' mom is German, so he speaks German as well as English. He also speaks French, and used all three languages when he announced he would attend Notre Dame. UCLA recruited him, too, and his decision to go elsewhere probably doesn't bother Chris Roberts.
