Joseph Randle arrested for marijuana possession

Cowboys running back Joseph Randle has been arrested again.

The 23-year-old, who was picked up in October for shoplifting, has now been arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana in his hometown of Wichita, Kansas, according to the Wichita Police Department's official logs.

The Wichita Police Department told NFL Media on Wednesday that officers were contacted by a 22-year-old female who reported a disturbance with a 23-year-old male. There was a report of a handgun at the scene, but responding officers did not find a weapon, nor did they find injuries sustained by the female.

A fifth-round pick in 2013, Randle hasn't gotten much on-field work but that could change based on Dallas' recent contract impasse with DeMarco Murray. It goes without saying that Jason Garrett and Jerry Jones were hoping Randle kept out of trouble this offseason.

Instead, Dallas will have to decide whether to stand behind their running back yet again. They did so almost immediately following his October arrest and handled the matter internally.
