Oregon to discipline players who chanted 'No means no'

PASADENA, Calif. -- There were plenty of joyous moments on the field of the Rose Bowl for Oregon players as they celebrated a blowout win over Florida State in the first ever College Football Playoff semifinal.

There were also, unfortunately, a few negative moments as the Ducks celebrated amid their fans Thursday night.

In a video obtained by Fox Sports West (posted below), several Oregon players appear to mock Heisman Trophy winner Jameis Winston and his off-the-field issues by chanting, "No means no," to the tune of FSU's war chant.

Two of the players seen chanting in the video were later identified by various media outlets as running back Kadi Benoit and linebacker Torrodney Prevot. Winston faced a sexual assault allegation stemming from a December 2012 incident. Winston was never charged in the matter and was cleared in a Florida State code of conduct hearing last month.

"We are aware of the inappropriate behavior in the postgame," Oregon coach Mark Helfrich told The Associated Press. "This is not what our program stands for, and the student athletes will be disciplined internally."

Benoit, a redshirt freshman backup, recorded four carries for 40 yards toward the end of the Ducks' 59-20 win in the Rose Bowl; Prevot had two tackles and a tackle for loss in the contest.

Oregon is set to return to Eugene on Friday morning from the Los Angeles area and will play in the national championship game Jan. 12.
