Cowboys' Rolando McClain loses Alabama home in fire

Rolando McClain has had an excellent year on the field for the Dallas Cowboys. He'll prepare for Week 17 with some distractions after his home in Lake Tuscaloosa, Alabama, burned to the ground on Monday evening.

A Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office spokesman confirmed, via AL.com, that the fire started around 6 p.m. AL.com published a photo showing the 7,500-square-foot home engulfed in flames.

McClain was trying to sell the home, which had been listed on several real estate websites with a price of $1.5 million.

McClain, 25, is an Alabama native who starred at the University of Alabama. He tweeted about the fire early Tuesday morning:
