Injuries: Cardinals' Antonio Cromartie to play vs. Rams

Antonio Cromartie is a go for Thursday Night Football.

The Cardinals cornerback took the field against the St. Louis Rams after being listed as questionable with an ankle injury.

It's a dramatic turnaround after Arizona first believed Cromartie might have suffered an Achilles injury in Sunday's Week 14 win over the Washington Redskins.

With Cromartie healthy, he teams up with All-Pro cornerback Patrick Peterson against Kenny Britt, Stedman Bailey and second-year St. Louis jitterbug Tavon Austin.

Tonight's quarterback matchup between Shaun Hill of the Rams and Drew Stanton of the Cards doesn't promise fireworks, but we're staring at a potential gem on defense (exclusively shown on NFL Network). Cromartie suiting up makes it all the better.

Other injuries we're tracking on Thursday:

  1. Eddie Lacy admitted there's a ways to go before he's cleared for Sunday and that he wouldn't want to put the Packers in a disadvantageous position if he's unable to play effectively, per the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
  1. Redskins coach Jay Gruden told reporters that wideout DeSean Jackson (leg) was limited for the second straight day ahead of Sunday's meeting with the New York Giants.
  1. Also for Washington, Gruden noted that offensive tackle Morgan Moses is being placed on injured reserve with a Lisfranc injury.
  1. Browns coach Mike Pettine told reporters that linebacker Karlos Dansby (knee) is getting closer to playing after a good practice on Wednesday. We still consider him a long shot for Sunday's Bengals showdown.
  1. For the Falcons: Julio Jones and William Mooremissed Thursday's practice, but head coach Mike Smith said "there is a good chance" both will play Sunday. Jones and Moore are game-time decisions.
  1. Jets coach Rex Ryan said that Muhammad Wilkerson is "50-50" for Sunday's game, per ESPN.
  1. Saints left tackle Terron Armstead said Thursday that he expects to play Monday against the Bears, per ESPN.
  1. Still recovering from a concussion, Andre Johnson did not practice Thursday for the Texans. Arian Foster (groin), Brian Cushing (back/ankle) and Johnathan Joseph (knee/Achilles) were all limited.
  1. Jamaal Charles and Anthony Fasano were limited for the Chiefs on Thursday, per ESPN.
