Broncos to work out kickers Feely, Barth on Tuesday

Denver Broncos kicker Brandon McManus appears to be on thin ice after missing a 33-yard field goal in Sunday'svictory over the Miami Dolphins.

Free agent kicker Jay Feely will work out for the Broncos on Tuesday, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported, per a source informed of the team's plans.

McManus has missed 3 of 5 field-goal attempts over 40 yards this season. That unreliability has led the Broncos to bypass opportunities for longer kicks over the past few weeks.

All four of McManus' missed field goals have come since Denver released 2013 Pro Bowl selection Matt Praterin early October.

If Feely -- or Connor Barth, who will also work out, per Rapoport -- impresses on Tuesday, the Broncos could opt for the steady foot of a proven veteran down the stretch run.
