CFB Social: Mississippi State hype video, Lane Kiffin photobomb

The College Football 24/7 home page and @NFLCFB Twitter account are great ways to keep up with all the major news surrounding the college game. But what about the things that pop up on social media and don't make the headlines?

Well, we've come to answer that call by scouring Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and other social-media networks most coaches can't pronounce to find some of the best posts. Here are some of the things that caught our eye this week:

Last week it was Michigan State that released a big hype video before its game against Ohio State. Now it's Mississippi State releasing a terrific video ahead of its showdown against Alabama. Who's ready to run out onto the field now?

As if that wasn't enough, there's this interesting cake for one Bulldogs fan that made the rounds this week.

Alabama offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin is not allowed to speak with the media, but he certainly is still able to photobomb them.

It's no secret that a wave of cold weather has swept through most of the country this week. The result is a number of terrific stadium shots full of snow.

The one place where there was no snow in sight? That might be in Arizona, where head coach Rich Rodriguez treated his team to a very tasty training table meal after practice.

Cincinnati coach Tommy Tuberville did have an interesting way to combat the cold for his team's win over East Carolina this week though.

Tuberville's quarterback, Gunner Kiel, played well in that win over ECU but perhaps gave away the secret to his success: breaking down film of just about everything.

Anytime there's a USFL photo that involves Steve Spurrier, it automatically gets included in CFB social.

We're just going to leave this photo of LSU's assistant athletic director for football operations here.

USC has a... unique marketing campaign going for stud defensive lineman Leonard Williams as award season kicks off.

At least that marketing campaign is going better than the one the Trojans had for their game programs, the latest of which features suspended cornerback Josh Shaw.

But hey, it's rivalry week in Los Angeles, and USC is already on the scoreboard against UCLA ahead of their showdown next Saturday.

There were a lot of cool Veteran's Day tweets, photos and more this week, but this one from a Texas A&M website was pretty unique.

Louisville lost its starting quarterback for the season because of a knee injury this week, but the new backup signal-caller looks strangely familiar...

The College Football Playoff account let us into AT&T Stadium for a sneak peak at what we'll see in 2015 for the national title game.

And finally we'll end with a look at what really happens during practice for kickers, at least at Boise State.
