TCU's fireworks supply runs out in 82-point effort vs. Texas Tech

Texas Christian has been scoring points at a blistering pace this season, but even the school apparently didn't anticipate an offense like this. In the Horned Frogs' 82-27 home win over Texas Tech, the school's supply of post-touchdown fireworks was exhausted.

TCU assistant athletics director Drew Martin revealed the news via Twitter:

Surprisingly, TCU has scored even more points per game on the road (57.0) than at home (47.8). It's a good thing those numbers aren't the other way around, or the Horned Frogs would have run out of their "pyro" weeks ago. TCU has two more home games, against Kansas State and Iowa State.

Kansas State's defense is one of the nation's better ones, allowing just 19.3 points per game, but Iowa State give up 35.3, which ranks 107th out of 125 FBS teams. Memo to Martin: A Fourth-of-July-worthy supply would be advisable when the Cyclones come to town.
