Megatron will battle his former head coach Sunday afternoon when the Detroit Lionshost the Buffalo Bills -- and defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz.
After telling teammates he would play, Calvin Johnson has been listed as active for Sunday's game.
Johnson missed two days of practice but returned on a limited basis on Friday.
Megatron will be on the field, but there is a chance he could play more of a decoy role than that of a prominent pass-catcher, as he did last week (with two receptions) against the New York Jets. He reportedly looked good during pregame warmups.
Last week, Golden Tate became just the fourth Lion to out-gain Johnson by more than 100 receiving yards in a game. Expect Tate to play a big role once again.
Some other injury news we are following Sunday:
»Tavon Austin will suit up for the Rams.
»Giants middle linebacker Jon Beason (foot, toe) will not play.
» On the positive side for Big Blue, receiver Odell Beckham will play.
» Both Arian Foster and Andre Johnson will play for the Texans.
» The Panthers will be without running backs DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart and will start Darrin Reaves against the Bears.
»Brandon Marshall and Jared Allen are both good to go for Chicago.
»Terrell Suggs is active for the Ravens against the Colts.
