Arian Foster doesn't know if he'll play vs. Cowboys

Arian Foster's status for Sunday remains a riddle wrapped in mystery.

The Texans running back told reporters Thursday that he plans to evaluate his tweaked hamstring before deciding if he can play against the Dallas Cowboys.

"I'm just going to go out there every day and see how it feels," Foster said, per the Houston Chronicle. "If it feels good enough to play, I'll suit up."

Coach Bill O'Brien on Monday called Foster's status day-to-day. The veteran runner didn't practice Wednesday after rushing for just six yards on eight carries in a Week 4 win over the Bills. As we noted Sunday, Foster didn't look himself against Buffalo's stingy run defense.

If Foster can't suit up, brace yourselves for a heavy dose of rookie runner Alfred Blue.
