Yes, Longhorns super fan and Texas alum Matthew McConaughey stopped by practice in Austin on Wednesday as a guest of head coach Charlie Strong and imparted a few words of wisdom to the team:

If you understood what, exactly, McConaughey was trying to tell the young team, kudos.

Fresh off the hit series True Detective, McConaughey might not be seen on the sideline of Texas games in the near future, as he's busy promoting his latest film, Interstellar.

The 2-2 Longhorns will host in-state rival Baylor on Saturday and will need all the motivation they can -- from famous actors and others -- in order to pull off the upset of the defending Big 12 champions.
