Buccaneers' Mike Evans (groin) out two to three weeks

Mike Glennon guided the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on a comeback win Sunday that should keep him in a starting role.

However he'll be without wide receiver Mike Evans for two to three weeks due to a groin injury, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Monday, according to a source informed of the injury.

Evans was enjoying the best game of his young career, including his first NFL touchdown grab, before pulling up lame and leaving the game. The rookie wideout finished with four catches for 65 yards.

With the first-round pick out, Louis Murphy took over the No. 2 role opposite Vincent Jackson on Sunday. Murphy, who just re-signed with the Bucs last week, had a huge 41-yard catch-and-run that set up Jackson's game-winning touchdown catch.

The Buccaneers have a bye in Week 7 so the team could hold Evans out until Week 8.
