Jim Harbaugh gives Levi's crowd lukewarm review

The Chicago Bears ruined the San Francisco 49ers' housewarming party at Levi's Stadium on Sunday night. In the aftermath of his first home opener loss as Niners coach, Jim Harbaugh provided a lukewarm review of the home crowd.

"I noticed, at times, it was good and loud, yeah," Harbaugh told reporters, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. "And at times, it could be improved."

In fairness, the Niners could've improved the experience of the paid attendees by not blowing a 13-point fourth-quarter lead. Home crowds typically don't react well when their quarterback hits the self-destruct button in front of Al, Cris and the world.

The 26 combined penalties in the game likely also played a role in the crowd's sedeated behavior at times.

Levi's Stadium could end up rivaling CenturyLink Field in Seattle as the loudest in the NFL for all we know. The Niners have to deliver a performance worthy of a celebration for us to find out.
