Antonio Brown's decision to introduce his cleat to a punter's face has come at a cost.

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Thursday that the Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver has been fined $8,200 for his kick of Cleveland Browns punter Spencer Lanning on Sunday, according to a league source.

The bizarre play occurred at the conclusion of a long punt return by Brown in the second quarter of Pittsburgh's 30-27 win. Brown was penalized for unnecessary roughness on the play. Lanning had a good sense of humor about the situation, though he denied Brown's claim that the two spoke about the play after the game.

The penalty handed down by the league should serve as a stern warning to others who might feel compelled to perform one half of Hulk Hogan's finishing move during live game action. Spencer Lanning, meanwhile, might actually be able to get back on Twitter.
