Ravens owner held town-hall meeting with employees

As Baltimore gets set to square off against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday night, the Ravens organization is still addressing Ray Rice's banishment.

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reports, via a Ravens source, owner Steve Bisciotti held a town hall-style meeting with employees on Wednesday, inviting them to ask anything they wanted about the fashion in which the team handled the Rice situation.

Bisciotti also expressed the failings he had already addressed in his public comments, per Rapoport. The meeting lasted approximately 30 minutes.

General manager Ozzie Newsome has said Rice did not lie to him about his actions.

The NFL announced Wednesday night that former FBI director Robert S. Mueller III will conduct an independent investigation into the league's handling of the Rice incident.
