Patriots' Tom Brady listed as questionable vs. Dolphins

The Dolphins would be wise to prepare for Tom Brady on Sunday.

One day after missing his first practice since the start of training camp, the Patriots quarterback returned to the field on a limited basis for Friday's session.

New England later listed Brady as questionable for Sunday's opener with a calf issue, but the 37-year-old passer told Westwood One on Thursday that he'd be "ready to go" against Miami.

We don't doubt the availability of a quarterback who hasn't missed a game since tearing up his knee in 2008.

While the Patriots have shown considerable faith in elevating Jimmy Garoppolo to the No. 2 role, only a New England-based nuclear-level disaster would put the rookie on the field in 2014.
