DirecTV is about to give apartment-condo-dwelling die-hard NFL fans a new lease on life.
For the first time, DirecTV is widely marketing its exclusive NFL Sunday Ticket online/mobile streaming service, NFLSundayTicket.tv, to multi-unit residents across the country, specifically targeting select buildings that don't allow satellite dishes.
NFLSundayTicket.tv allows consumers to stream live out-of-market NFL games every Sunday afternoon to their computer, tablet, smartphone or game console, including XBox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, depending on which level of package they buy. To subscribe, consumers go through an on-line screening process at nflsundayticket.tv/ to see if they're eligible for the service.
"NFL Sunday Ticket has become a cultural icon among NFL fans, and while the vast majority of people living in condo or apartment buildings can receive DirecTV, we wanted those fans who can't have a dish, to have the same great NFL Sunday Ticket experience," said Alex Kaplan, vice president, Marketing, DirecTV. "Whether you're a Broncos fan in Boston or a Browns diehard in Duluth, you won't have to miss a single minute of your favorite team's game every Sunday just because of where you live."
And that is not all. Fans purchasing NFLST.TV max can watch live out-of-market NFL games every Sunday afternoon on their favorite PC, tablet, mobile device or game console, including access to the popular Red Zone Channel, and a new exclusive channel entirely devoted to fantasy football - DirecTV Fantasy Zone. Fantasy Zone will provide timely game-to-game fantasy analysis and statistics powered by NFL.com Fantasy Football, along with multiple, revolving on-screen tickers offering real-time stats, highlights, projections and key player updates.
