The Tampa Bay Buccaneers continue to overhaul their roster.
The team announced it signed defensive end Larry English on Thursday.
English was a former first-round pick (16th overall) of the San Diego Chargers in 2009.
In Lovie Smith's 4-3 scheme English will move down to defensive end where he will fight for a job behind starters Adrian Clayborn and Michael Johnson. The Bucs wanted to add depth along the defensive line with Da'Quan Bowers and Steven Means injured.
The Bucs waived (injured) Jibreel Black to make space for English in a corresponding move.
