Fresno State reported for preseason camp this week and did so with a pair of new faces from power five schools.

Bulldogs coach Tim DeRuyter announced Friday night that the program added wide receiver LeKendrick Williams from Texas A&M and linebacker Tyrell Robinson from Oregon.

The 5-foot-8, 170-pound Williams is eligible immediately after graduating and will spend his final collegiate season with Fresno State. He appeared in 19 games for the Aggies but had just seven receptions for 170 yards and two touchdowns during his career in College Station.

Although he was not the most productive player at his previous stop, adding a veteran like Williams will help Fresno State's receiving corps heading into the season as the Bulldogs deal with the departures of Davante Adams and Isaiah Burse to the NFL.

Robinson was a highly touted athlete out of high school who played in nine games last season as a true freshman for the Ducks. His twin brother, Tyree, remains in Eugene and is a possible starter in the secondary for the team.

The 6-foot-4, 220-pound inside linebacker's move brings him closer to his home in San Diego.

"It was a family decision to take a separate path from my brother," Tyrell told The Oregonian in June.

Fresno State checks in at No. 54 in the College Football 24/7 preseason countdown. DeRuyter's squad should be the beneficiary of several transfers, as former Duke starting quarterback Brandon Connette is expected to take over for Derek Carr and team up with Williams and others in the passing game.

The Bulldogs kicked off fall camp on Saturday as they prepare for their opener against USC.
