CFB Social: ACC coaches show off their six-packs

The College Football 24/7 home page and @NFL_CFB Twitter account are great ways to keep up with all the major news surrounding the college game. But what about the things that pop up on social media and don't make the headlines?

Well, we've come to answer that call by scouring Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and other social-media networks some coaches can't pronounce to find some of the best posts each week. Here are some of the things that caught our eye this week:

North Carolina coach Larry Fedora posted this photo of him at the beach with his daughter on Twitter and the interwebs came alive commenting on his six-pack abs he showed off. Well, some fellow coaches in the Triangle took exception to that and decided to respond the best way they know how.

Well played.

Staying in the ACC, Clemson whipped up this graphic to appeal to recruits by noting how much success Tigers wide receivers have had in the NFL. In short: cha-ching.

Oregon has been known to push the envelope when it comes to new things in football and did even more of that this week by announcing scratch-and-sniff tickets to games this fall. Naturally that prompted a conference rival to throw a little shade the Ducks' way.

With the offseason just about closed for business, a number of programs decided this week would be a good time to release some new uniform options. Most of them were not too shabby at all.

Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen takes the cake for best uniform this week however as he gave a nod to Caddyshack for a costume party.

With Big Ten Media Days in Chicago, the new guy to the league seemed to go crazy with all the selfie opportunities the city provided.

James Franklin's shot was only slightly more impressive than the Ohio State contingent's private plane swag however.

Bo Pelini seems to be taking things easy this year and buying into all the memes he's inspired on the internet. That's why he unleashed this quote at Big Ten Media Days and it was only the second funniest thing he did this week.

I believe Houston offensive lineman Bryce Redman won the Media Day circuit thanks to his performance at the annual AAC Clambake.

Anytime there is video of Nick Saban outside a football setting, chances are high it will be included here. Him on the lake? That makes it automatic.

Looks like the Alabama coach also frequented the same lake as a few SEC rivals as well.

Speaking of Georgia, former Bulldog Josh Murray -- brother of ex-quarterback Aaron Murray -- was a contestant on "The Bachelorette" this season and actually ended up winning the whole thing. Naturally that prompted a few snark comments on Twitter from a few current players.

If the echos were not already awoken this offseason, Notre Dame switching to Under Armour gear and laying down FieldTurf probably did the trick.

A little further South, Auburn made a classy gesture by putting 43 on their practice fields to remember former teammate Philip Lutzenkirchen.

Finally, Arizona released this season hype video featuring a number of Wildcats fans. Washington released another slick video too. Are you ready for the season? We certainly are.
