Chiefs OL Rokevious Watkins suspended four games

Kansas City's paper-thin offensive line has taken another hit.

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Thursday that reserve blocker Rokevious Watkins has been suspended four games for violating the league's substance abuse policy.

Watkins was signed by the Chiefs last summer after the Rams released the 25-year-old lineman for reporting to training camp overweight two years in a row.

After St. Louis selected Watkins in the fifth round of the 2012 NFL Draft, he went on to appear in just one game for the Rams before making his only NFL start with the Chiefs last autumn.

Penciled in at guard behind Jeff Allen and Jeff Linkenbach, Watkins is now in danger of losing his roster spot altogether.
