Minnesota's Logan Hutton catches 2 balls while doing backflip

Minnesota senior wide receiver Logan Hutton hasn't done all that much for the Golden Gophers -- he has just four career catches -- but he still seems poised to become an Internet sensation.

Why is that? Catching two footballs while doing a backflip tends to increase one's celebrity status.

The official Minnesota football Twitter feed (@GopherFootball) said Hutton needed "about 15 takes" to get the job done -- and that both balls were thrown by the same person.

Hutton (6-foot-1, 180 pounds) had three receptions last season and is expected to play a bigger role as a reserve this season for the Golden Gophers. Minnesota, which was 8-5 in 2013, is aiming for its second consecutive winning season; the Golden Gophers haven't had back-to-back winning records since 2004 and '05.
