Morgan Moses, Washington Redskins strike contract

The Washington Redskins have their entire rookie class under contract.

The team on Thursday announced the signing of third-round selection Morgan Moses, the hulking offensive tackle out of Virginia who has a shot to crack the starting lineup come September.

The 6-foot-6, 314-pound blocker offers outstanding arm length, one reason some scouts projected Moses as a potential blindside protector at the NFL level. In Washington, he'll battle Tyler Polumbus for a starting gig on the right side, a fight Around The Leaguepredicted the rookie would win in our "Projected Starters" series.

The Redskins used both of the team's third-round picks to bolster their needy offensive line. After taking Moses at No. 66 overall, Washington grabbed guardSpencer Long out of Nebraska at No. 78. Both behemoths figure to make an early impact as shields for Robert Griffin III in 2014.

The latest "Around The League Podcast" breaks down the news and discusses players who could be summertime trade targets.
