Report: Don Jones reinstated after Michael Sam tweets

Miami Dolphins safety Don Jones, who was suspended for negative tweets about Michael Sam during the 2014 NFL Draft, has been reinstated by the team.

Fox Sports 1's Alex Marvez reported Monday that Jones was reinstated after successfully completing "educational training."

Shortly after Sam was drafted by the St. Louis Rams in the seventh round and became the first openly gay player in the NFL, Jones tweeted "omg" after ESPN aired live footage of Sam kissing his boyfriend. When asked if he was referring to the kiss, he tweeted: "horrible."

The tweets -- which Dolphins coach Joe Philbin called "inappropriate and unacceptable" -- were later deleted.

Jones was on the roster bubble before his suspension. We can't imagine this incident did the former seventh-round pick any favors.

The latest "Around The League Podcast" breaks down the latest news and predicts the 2014 season for top rookies.
