Tom Savage sometimes feels more like a media creation than an actual football player. The much-talked about pro prospect hasn't played many nationally televised games, but it's beginning to appear more likely that he is, in fact, a real person.
The No. 135 overall pick of the draft is raw, but he has a skill set that has plenty of football wonks excited. Savage has a big arm, good pocket movement, and a better chance to start than most players drafted in his spot.
It's safe to assume the Texans brass already likes Savage better than T.J. Yates and Case Keenum, who were inherited. That leaves Ryan Fitzpatrick as the unquestioned starter (for now), and an upset star wide receiver.
