Eagles' Jeremy Maclin 'fully recovered' from torn ACL

With DeSean Jackson now draped in burgundy and gold, the Eagles are leaning on Jeremy Maclin to fill the void in Philadelphia.

The sixth-year wide receiver won't keep them waiting. Maclin on Thursday told Geoff Mosher of CSN Philly that he's "fully recovered" from the torn right ACL he suffered last July.

Maclin insisted that he could practice without limitation if training camp opened today, but he still hasn't been told by coaches what his workload will entail when the Eagles gather for OTAs in late May.

The former first-round pick has been working with quarterback Nick Foles to build chemistry in an offense that will look to Maclin and Riley Cooper to lead the way come September.

We're inclined to predict a big season for Maclin as the lead dog in a passing attack that helped DJax set career records in catches and receiving yards before the Eagles released him in March. If Maclin follows suit, he'll make a bundle after betting on himself with a one-year contract for 2014.
