Inside the Schedule
The Eagles surprised everyone with their performance under first-year coach Chip Kelly in 2013, winning the NFC East crown. But defending the title will be tougher, and the Eagles will have to do it without one of the most explosive playmakers in the NFL: DeSean Jackson. Philly's bye comes in Week 7, but Nick Foles and crew face the Cardinals, Panthers and Packers in three of four post-break games.
Week 3, at Redskins: The Eagles look to replicate their 2013 success against the rival Redskins, but will face a familiar foe in DeSean Jackson.
Week 10, vs. Panthers:The NFC South-champion Panthers defeated the Eagles 30-22 in their last meeting, a 2012 contest.
Week 11, at Packers:The Eagles and Packers routinely engage in exciting games (fourth-and-26, anyone?) and this time should be no different. The Eagles defeated the Packers 27-13 last season, but this time they should be facing Aaron Rodgers, not Seneca Wallace and Scott Tolzien.
