Inside the Schedule

The Patriots have been a prime-time staple in the Brady and Belichick era. That won't change in 2014. Five prime-time matchups are on the schedule, including three in a four-week span from late September into October. The Patriots face six playoff teams from a year ago, all in the middle of the season. Their first three games and last three games are against non-playoff teams from 2013.

Key Games

Week 7, vs. Jets: Revis Bowl I on "Thursday Night Football." This is actually Revis' second showdown against the Jets (he faced them in Week 1 with the Bucs last season). The stakes are higher now for all parties involved.

Week 9, vs. Broncos: Treasure the next installment of the Brady-Manning Bowl. We don't know how many more of these we have left.

Week 13, at Packers: Brady and Aaron Rodgers square off at Lambeau Field. What's not to love? Brady had a ball in his only previous trip to Title Town, a 35-0 win in 2006. Expect more competition this time around.
