Mere hours into the start of Denver's offseason workout program, the Broncos are making changes along their offensive line.
Last year's starting right tackle, Orlando Franklin, tweeted Monday that he's switching positions:
Franklin -- who struggled mightily in the Super Bowl -- has been a fixture at right tackle, starting 47 games on the outside over the past three seasons. Still, a handful of teams saw him as a better fit inside coming out of Miami in 2011, and he occasionally practiced at guard last season.
The move fills a void left by Zane Beadles and gives Denver a bulky trio of run-stuffers up front, with Louis Vasquez penciled in at right guard and Manny Ramirez expected back at center. As of today, Chris Clark looms as the team's top candidate to take over at right tackle.
