Jameis Winston, FSU baseball recreate BCS title-winning TD

Rain delays are a dime a dozen in football but are a rather annoying part of the game in baseball. After all, there's nothing more irritating than showing up to the ballpark and having to wait around for hours while a shower passes by.

Give credit to Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston, though: The kid is quite the entertainer, both on and off the field. In addition to leading the Seminoles through spring practice this month, he's also busy being an outfielder and pitcher for the top-ranked FSU baseball team. During a recent rain delay for the baseball team, he brought both sports together for a thrilling re-enactment of the game-winning touchdown play from the BCS national title game.

Via ESPN, here's the video of Winston lobbing one up to one of his baseball teammates:

As the video illustrates, the details -- such as two running backs in the backfield -- were clearly important to Winston. The route the receiver ran might have been a little sloppy, but we'll forgive him since he plays baseball for a living. We especially like how ESPN overlaid Brent Musburger's call of the actual touchdown against Auburn over the rain delay play.

Of course, the player who caught that pass in the football game was none other than wideout Kelvin Benjamin, who is expected to be a first-round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft and was recently slotted to the Philadelphia Eagles at No. 22 overall in NFL Media analyst Daniel Jeremiah's latest mock draft.

As for Winston, keep up the good work during rain delays. It might just be enough for some folks to get interested in college baseball, even if a Heisman Trophy winner isn't playing.
