New Orleans Saints restricted free agent safety Rafael Bush has signed an offer sheet with the Falcons.

The Saints tendered Bush at the lowest level in March, which means they will receive no compensation if they opt against matching the Falcons' offer. General manager Mickey Loomis has until April 8 to make that decision.

Over 13 games and six starts, Bush recorded 45 tackles, six pass breakups, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in his third season.

He played well when pressed into action for Roman Harper and Malcolm Jenkins and later impressed with a series of hard hits in the playoffs.

The Falcons' coaching staff is familiar with Bush, as they signed him as an undrafted free agent out of South Carolina State in 2010. There's a good chance for a reunion considering the Saints' lack of salary cap space.
