Running backs are getting paid like kickers and punters this offseason. Why no love? Chris Wesseling explores.  **More...**

After speaking with Titans management Wednesday, agent Joel Segal told SiriusXM NFL Radio that it's only a "matter of time" before the organization cuts ties with Johnson.

Surprised by the Eagles' release of his client DeSean Jackson, Segal was reluctant to guess whether Johnson would be leaving Nashville via trade or cut.

We would be shocked if the Titans find a taker for Johnson's $8 million salary in 2014.

Once he's released, the Jets are expected to be first in line for his services. In tracking Johnson's potential landing spots, we've yet to find another team matching the reported interestlevel of Rex Ryan's club.

UPDATE: Rapoport reported Thursday night that Johnson is headed to Tennessee for a face-to-face meeting with Titans general manager Ruston Webster, after which the running back will likely be released, per a source informed of the Titans' plans.

The latest Around The League Podcast welcomes NFL Media columnist Jeff Darlington to the studio, reacts to the DeSean Jackson signing and discusses big-name veterans still looking for new teams.
