According to Rapoport, Jackson will visit the Redskins on Monday, per a source informed of the team's plans. Jackson's visit will start Monday afternoon and will expand through Tuesday, Rapoport added.

Dianna Marie Russini of WRC-TV first reported the news of the visit.

Jackson and the Oakland Raidershave mutual interest, per Rapoport, who said the receiver has other, unspecified visits scheduled as well.

The Redskins, however, will have an opportunity to make him an offer he can't refuse once they let the playmaking wideout inside their building.

Jackson would be an interesting fit as the deep threat opposite Pierre Garcon, with Robert Griffin III capable of extending plays and extending defenses vertically.

Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall, who had a brief confrontation with Jackson in Week 1 last season, would welcome the wide receiver with open arms.

Hall told CSN Washington's Tarik El-Bashir on Saturday that signing DJax would "make my year."

"If he's able to come here, man, I'm going to take him under my wing and just try to put him on the right path," Hall said.

In addition to the Redskins and Raiders, the Bills and Jets have varying levels of interest in Jackson. The Kansas City Chiefs were thought to be interested as well, but Rapoport, citing a source, reported Saturday night that the Chiefs were out of the running.
