ProFootballTalk reported Monday that the Steelers and inside linebacker Arthur Moats have agreed to terms on a one-year deal, according to a league source. The Steelers later made the signing official.
Moats spent the last four seasons with the Buffalo Bills after being selected in the sixth round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He started 12 games as Buffalo's weakside linebacker in 2013, finishing with 54 tackles. Primarily known as an early-down run-stuffer, the 26-year-old Moats becomes a logical companion with Lawrence Timmons in the Steelers' starting lineup.
